Snow Empress ruled the Extreme North as the foremost of its Three Heavenly Kings. She possessed 700,000 years of cultivation and had previously fought the Evil Eye Tyrant Ruler, whose spiritual power she regarded as exceptionally dangerous 29 103.

After failing to survive her seventh heavenly tribulation, she took human form and was captured. She later remarks that obtaining an opportunity such as the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well earlier might have prevented that failure 59 64.

Mu Xuanheng freed her by tearing apart the God Sealing Platform with Chaofeng Dragon Claw. Her release unleashed cold and fury felt throughout the Extreme North. Near death, she entered a contract with him, beginning her life as his contracted companion 14 92.

Appearance

Snow Empress manifests as an icy beauty with clear, ethereal sky-blue eyes and a white dress. Her public appearance beside Mu Xuanheng causes the surrounding temperature to drop by dozens of degrees 85.

With those close to her, she is teasing, affectionate, and occasionally jealous. She recognizes Mu Xuanheng's emotional avoidance, offers him a place of calm, and openly admits her affection for him. Her playful exchanges with Ice Empress contrast with her tenderness toward Xiao Bai and her careful preparations for the Extreme North's future 54 77 90.

Snow Empress helps Mu Xuanheng approach Bing Di by radiating her aura rather than searching for her. She recognizes Sky Dream Ice Silkworm's imitation of her power and supports Bing Di's eventual choice to contract with Mu Xuanheng 22 23.

Training and Public Revelation

Her brief peak-state sword strike against Du Busi exposes the connection between her and Mu Xuanheng's orange ring to him; he agrees not to publicize it. She continues developing Mu Xuanheng's techniques and helps him understand his avoidance of Gu Yuena 52 53 54.

Outside Heaven Dou City, Mu Xuanheng publicly identifies her as the Heavenly Snow Woman and the provider of his orange soul ring. Her appearance unsettles the opposing Holy Spirit Cult elders even though her strength is linked to his 85.

Succession in the Extreme North

After retrieving the Mystic Ice Cave's resources, Snow Empress returns north to settle affairs weakened by her and Ice Empress's absence. She appoints A Tai as ruler and takes Xiao Bai away because the stronger Ice Bear King would not accept A Tai's authority 88 90.

She arranges Xiao Bai's Spirit Contract with Mu Xuanheng and rejects preserving its former body as an undead vessel. When enemies attack afterward, she kills a charging Titled Douluo and helps immobilize the ambush force 90 91.

Gu Yuena's Departure and Reunion

Snow Empress guards the critically injured Qiu'er from Long Xiaoyao, then joins Mu Xuanheng and the two Sacred Dragons against Di Tian. After Gu Yuena orders Di Tian to retreat, Snow Empress remains beside Mu Xuanheng and places a hand on his shoulder 92.

At the later confrontation in Shrek City, she confirms that Mu Xuanheng knows Gu Yuena's identity. He shields her from Di Tian's accusation and explains that he—not Snow Empress—first recognized Gu Yuena 96.

Snow Empress assists Eternal Moon's pursuit of the Demon Empress by freezing her escape forms. The Heart of Ice and Snow later proves decisive when Mu Xuanheng returns after Tang Hao's supposedly fatal hammer strike and credits its protection 118 125.

During preparations for the Abyssal invasion, Mu Xuanheng and Gu Yuena consult her about forging divine artifacts. On the battlefield, she appears beside Mu Xuanheng as Thousand Ruins Forbidden Snow Slumber freezes the Spirit Emperor and the abyssal army 133 135.
