Chen Ming reached out and ruffled Wang Dong'er's hair, then wrapped both arms around her slender waist and rested his head against the back of hers. A faint fragrance wafted to his nose.
After what had just happened, Wang Dong'er had become much more well-behaved. She behaved herself while sleeping, too, and stopped making little moves.
And so, the peaceful night passed quickly. The next morning, the two searched Vast Sea City for a navigator again, but still came up empty-handed.
Wang Dong'er was no longer wearing men's clothes, though. After all, everyone in the sect knew that she wore them, so there was no point in dressing like a man anymore.
More importantly, she could now be openly affectionate with Chen Ming. Seeing him lose himself over her made her confidence return at once. As expected, no one could resist this young lady's charm.
After spending nearly three days exploring Vast Sea City, the two finally found a navigator willing to take them to Sea God Island. The price was a little steep, though: a stack of Emerald blocks.
It wasn't a problem. Chen Ming had plenty of money to spare, so the two set off on their journey to Sea God Island.
It was worth mentioning that no troublemakers had come looking for them while they were out exploring. Since everyone around them was an NPC, nothing would happen as long as they didn't interact with anyone first.
After boarding the ship, Wang Dong'er gazed at the sea and breathed in the faint, salty scent drifting off the water. Her eyes were full of curiosity.
