Looking at the bizarre scene on the screen, Natsuki Subaru wore an expression of disbelief.
Because of the era, his phone was an old-fashioned flip phone.
As had been mentioned before, the world Natsuki Subaru lived in was quite similar to the Fate world. Though both were modern, there was still some time before smartphones would be invented.
So phones generally had fairly limited functions. Aside from basic calling, messaging, and photography, they only had a few built-in mini-games, like Snake or Tetris. As for Genshin Impact, that was simply out of the question...
But after it was covered in bloody garbled code...
Natsuki Subaru was astonished to find several strange apps appearing on his phone.
The most obvious was an icon of a cartoon penguin. There was also a blue-and-white paw print, a red square with the character "Qi" written in the middle, and a whole pile of other apps he completely could not understand.
"Wh-what the hell is this?"
To be honest, Natsuki Subaru was rather lost at the sight.
He was certain he had never seen these inexplicable apps before, and that meant one thing: perhaps the world before his eyes was not an illusion.
Of course, this was a conclusion he had reached after careful analysis.
Because in Natsuki Subaru's opinion, if this illusion had been constructed by an enemy, then his parents could not possibly feel this real.
And if this illusion had been built from his memories, it would likewise have flaws—for example, it could not create things that did not exist in his memories. Of course, it was not impossible that the illusion had no flaws at all... but that possibility was indeed far too slim.
If he really had the misfortune of encountering that...
Natsuki Subaru did not have any
