During the earlier clash in Norway, Loki had summoned the Bifrost in order to escape, allowing Hela to use that beam of light to flee to Asgard.
And because Fang Mo had recklessly altered the plot, Loki had failed to trigger the Battle of New York. The resulting butterfly effect also prevented him from faking his death, disguising himself as Odin, and driving away the gatekeeper Heimdall. So the moment Hela emerged, she encountered Heimdall.
However, Hela's soul was linked to Asgard.
As long as Asgard had not been destroyed, her power was limitless. No matter how grievous her injuries were, she could recover rapidly.
So after arriving, Hela swiftly dealt with the gatekeeper Heimdall.
