"...What the fuck?"
Hearing the system notification, Fang Mo was clearly a little surprised.
Force Field Shield, as the name implied, was an industrial-oriented Addon that added an entire modular force-field barrier generation system to the game.
Using this mod, one could generate a barrier in the MC world that even OPs could not break. Of course, it also had various other convenient functions, allowing players to freely control the territory within their barriers. Back in the old days, it had been quite useful on servers without land-claim plugins.
But honestly, this mod...
Its development history was just too absurdly twisted.
Fang Mo's partner, Xiaoyao, had once happened to explain the details of this mod to him when he had last played on an MC server.
According to that little thing...
The mod had initially been called MFFS Force Field Shield and had been developed by someone named Thunderdark. At the time, it had been considered an Addon for the Industrial Age mod.
Then, during the MC 1.5 era, the author had stopped developing the mod for certain reasons. It was later taken over by someone named C, but the problem was that this author followed the UE school of thought, which caused the mod to lose its status as an Industrial Age Addon.
Later, fans of the Industrial Age mod had gotten upset. You could make a mod if you wanted, but why the hell did you have to change the identity of their Addon? So another group obtained the original permissions from Thunderdark and developed a high-level version of MFFS that remained an Industrial Age Addon.
Besides that, there seemed to be other versions made independently by various expert fans.
In short, this mod was unlike Equivalent Exchange Resettled.
Although the Equivalent Exchange mod had died back then,
