The crisis on X Academy's side was temporarily resolved as well.

Though there was still a whole mountain of trouble afterward, such as how to explain the commotion caused by Dark Phoenix and Fang Mo's battle to the US Military.

Their fight had been utterly absurd. They had literally torn up a mountain peak and used it as a weapon to smash each other over the head. The destructive power had been terrifying. Honestly, it was not just the US Military—apparently the entire world was deeply concerned about it.

The disturbance Fang Mo and Dark Phoenix had caused was simply too exaggerated.

Even if X Academy wanted to cover it up, they were currently powerless to do so.

Unless Charles was willing to abandon his principles and erase their memories... but clearly, the old stubborn man was still unwilling to cross that line and brainwash or hypnotize all of humanity.

And Fang Mo could not be bothered to waste words with the upper echelons of the US.

So the X-Men could only be left to deal with this mess.

Charles, Darwin, and Storm were practically being run ragged right now, constantly dealing with the aftermath of this incident. Fang Mo's godlike strength allowed him to look down on everything, but they could not afford to do the same.

Often, one group of visitors had not even left before the next group arrived. And these people all held high positions, making them impossible to offend. It was enough to give anyone a splitting headache.
