After the Northern Frontier army returned, the Spring Martial Tournament was still in full swing.
People all over the streets were discussing this grand event, arguing over which team and which contestant was stronger.
Of course, quite a few were also debating which of the few female contestants was the prettiest and had the best figure.
This scene would continue until the tournament ended a month later.
And during this period, the Winter Food Festival banquet held by the royal court arrived as scheduled.
On the evening of January 31st, Ron and Soven were trying on the formalwear they had ordered long ago at a famous clothing shop on Queen Street.
"So, have you picked your female companion?" Ron loosened the collar of his tailcoat, casually glancing at himself in the mirror as he asked Soven, who was flamboyantly changing poses before the mirror beside him.
"Do I even have a choice? Who else could it be besides Penny? She's driving me crazy." Soven looked thoroughly annoyed.
"That wasn't your attitude when you were sharing the results of your exploits in her bedroom with me a while ago."
"That's one thing and this is another." Soven waved a hand. "Seizing the day and breaking up peacefully should be two matters that don't interfere with each other. Why can't you people understand that?"
"Why dress up your mindset of wanting to eat without paying so nicely?" Ron curled his lip. "Isn't that just dining and dashing?"
"What are you talking about? I put in the same amount of time and energy into this relationship, okay?" Soven retorted. "Now she's the one desperately dragging me along, begging me to sit in that restaurant and keep tasting her, yet refusing to let me switch to another restaurant."
"Isn't that restricting my personal freedom?"
