After the limited free period, the bookmarks directly doubled, and a lot of new readers came in.
This time, I'd like to formally talk with everyone about a few things concerning this book.
1. The Original Inspiration for This Book
The original idea for this book actually came from Food Supplier.
I'd written grand-scale xianxia stories before, or science-fiction stories with far-reaching setups, and even dark, inscrutable fantasy stories.
In the end, I discovered I wasn't cut out for it.
My control over the story was too weak.
So I decided to write something lighter, where the main setting could be concentrated in one small place, and the plot could be built up simply without becoming dull.
Then I set my sights on Food Supplier.
That book was about the protagonist opening a restaurant, unlocking one or two dishes at a time. Customers thought the prices were expensive, but after eating them, they found themselves saying, "It's so good!" Every plotline was a simple case of showing off and slapping faces.
I was really hooked on that book at the time and followed it for several days straight.
So this time, I also tried writing this kind of small-shop model.
But I don't know how to write food novels, and this kind of copycat work had already become a dime a dozen years ago.
So I decided to switch to a different kind of shop.
After much thought, I chose a flower shop.
And that was how this book's early concept came about.
2. Changing the Main Plot After More Than a Hundred Thousand Words
At the very beginning, I'd set a very clear main plot for this book: selling plants, such as Nether Orchids, Golden Red Chrysanthemums, and later, Scale Vines.
The other side plots were meant
