Liang Zhongyu and Huangfu Wuxia's dispute ultimately ended amicably.
The reason was simple: Huangfu Wuxia gave him a few straightforward examples to illustrate the dangers of becoming Tiantong's enemy.
Of course, the most crucial point was that Tiantong would also be selling Boiler Engines in the future—and Liang Zhongyu could handle the after-sales service.
Originally, Tiantong had not thought much of Boiler Engines. They had merely helped ship them because others wanted to buy them. But Liang Zhongyu and his people had made a real success of it, and Tiantong began considering entering the business.
Tiantong's sales network compared to Liang Zhongyu's group... forget it, there was simply no comparison.
However, Tiantong had its shortcomings as well. In Blue Star Realm terms, its sales network was powerful, but it catered exclusively to mid- and high-end customers. As a result, it could never truly establish itself in any one place—those who sold luxury goods could not really connect with ordinary people.
Huangfu Wuxia did not possess such sophisticated business theories, but she knew very well that Tiantong could sell Boiler Engines, yet likely lacked the ability to provide proper "after-sales service." If they had not been wary of that issue, Tiantong would have started selling Boiler Engines long ago.
What she could not do, Liang Zhongyu and the others could accomplish fairly easily. After all, combat cultivators were everywhere, and most of them were not doing particularly well. They were quite interested in earning a little extra money.
For Liang Zhongyu, Ji Ping'an, and the others, finding combat cultivators in similar circumstances in different marketplaces and sharing a few drinks was no problem. Going into business together, however, was another matter entirely.
If they simply joined forces to handle after-sales service and earn hard-earned money, it would actually be much easier.
