Feng Jun considered it and felt the price was fairly reasonable. One tael of gold for one ton of grain was more or less in line with the market. "There's nothing unacceptable about those terms, is there?"
Master Fu could only offer a bitter smile. "The price is reasonable enough, but the Orderless Plane only accepts grain. With our current grain production, one tael of gold can buy a ton of grain, but fifty thousand taels of gold absolutely cannot buy fifty thousand tons of grain."
In an era of small-scale farming, grain prices did not follow the pricing system of an industrial society. That went without saying.
Feng Jun gave a cold laugh. "And whose fault is that? He was the one who wanted to take advantage and came up with a crooked scheme. Who can he blame?"

Feng Jun answered dismissively, "Passing that along is useless. I will only deal with the Huangfu Clan. Even if cultivators from the Orderless Plane come knocking, my answer will be the same."
What he really wanted to say was, if the Nangong Family truly planned to stop dealing in graphene after this transaction, they could just give the graphene to me. I would not cooperate with anyone other than the Huangfu Clan, but I would still accept free goods.
Wasn't it just fifty thousand tons of grain? If the Nangong Family truly wanted to gather it, it should not have been much of a problem.
So Feng Jun believed the Nangong Family might be plotting something again—first drawing closer, then using the
