The canvas tarp moved. Obviously, someone was doing something.
Then someone shouted, "The ship is moving! The ship is moving!"
The ship really was moving, and the water beneath its hull rippled in waves.
That was perfectly normal. Could the draft line of a wooden ship be the same as that of an iron ship?
But no one present thought it was a big deal. The environment was fairly enclosed, and the occasional strange gust of wind was normal.
Someone more responsible called the first checkpoint. "Was there anything unusual when our ship came in?"
Strictly speaking, a dock hidden inside a Mountain Cave could not completely prevent outsiders from sneaking in, especially at the first checkpoint.
The first checkpoint was in a relatively open area, and one might not even be able to see the dock entrance from there.
The second checkpoint was stricter. From there, the dock could clearly be spotted.
The third checkpoint was even stricter. There was not much space inside the Mountain Cave, and anyone wanting to enter needed identification at the very least.
But honestly, ordinary tourists could not even get past the first checkpoint. They might not even be qualified to enter this stretch of beach.
The people inside the Mountain Cave grew uneasy, but the first checkpoint reported, "Nothing unusual. There are barely any people on the beach."
This stretch of beach had lovely scenery, but it was truly remote. There were more visitors during holidays, but few could even enter the beach, much less get past the first checkpoint.
So for those involved tonight, this had merely been a routine assignment.
Although they did not understand why the model had to be moved here, it was only a model. What could possibly go wrong?
In any case, the transfer had cost
