On the day of the trial run, two trains went from Pacify Arms Mountain, and one returned. Everything seemed to go smoothly.

On the second and third days, two trains ran in opposite directions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. They were packed to the brim, and quite a few people had to squeeze into the freight cars. Few cared about comfort—some even kept their carrying baskets on their shoulders aboard the train to protect their belongings.

After all, getting used to this means of transportation would take time—once aboard, they could always put their things on the floor, right?

On the fourth day, a new problem arose. At the hundred-kilometer mark stood a small town, where an Advanced Martial Master leaped aboard—yes, he directly jumped onto a train traveling at over a hundred kilometers per hour.

The fellow had really gone all out. It was no easy feat for an Advanced Martial Master to run that fast; he had clearly burst forth with everything he had, then clung to a carriage and climbed into a freight car—most of the freight cars were open-topped.

Unfortunately for him, the moment he climbed into the carriage, a woman appeared above it. She hovered silently in the air, simply looking down at him from on high.

The Advanced Martial Master's hair stood on end. He cupped his hands toward the sky. "G-g-greetings, my lady."

Anyone capable of hovering in midair was at least an Innate Expert. An Advanced Martial Master like him was... far too far from reaching that level.

Little Celestial Master frowned. She had read Railway Guerrillas too. "Climbing onto a train... were you planning to steal something?"

"My lady, I truly had no intention of stealing anything." The Advanced Martial Master broke out in a cold sweat.
