Feng Jun nodded at this. "Just deliver it to Liba Beach. I'd like it to be as soon as possible, otherwise it will affect the service I provide to the Azure Lotus Sect."
Nine Songs was truly speechless at this "service" to the Azure Lotus Sect... but for him, compensating Feng Jun with Extreme Spirit was not really a problem.
He had inherited his master's relics, which contained over twenty pieces of Extreme Spirit. After reaching Soul Emergence, he had acquired more. Most importantly, he had conflicts with several major figures of the Azure Lotus Sect, so even if they wanted to borrow Extreme Spirit, they would not come to him.
Nine Songs knew very well that it would be difficult for him to advance to Spirit Severing, so there were not many occasions when he would need Extreme Spirit. Since no one borrowed it from him either, his stockpile of nearly a hundred pieces would likely mostly be left to his disciples in the future.
Extreme Spirit was indeed precious, but not all forms of preciousness were the same. For someone who had no use for it, using it as a bargaining chip to settle karmic ties was not a bad choice.
So he actually asked, "Are you very short on Extreme Spirit?"
"Who isn't short on Extreme Spirit?" Feng Jun found the question utterly baffling. "Can you exchange some with me?"
"An exchange is impossible," Nine Songs True Venerable stated bluntly; he could not possibly be that ignorant. "The Nascent Soul cultivators from those sects whom you captured might be exchanged for Extreme Spirit. I can mediate on your behalf... are you interested?"
"Very interested!" Feng Jun nodded without hesitation. It would be a pity to kill or cripple those people he had captured—the Insectoid World needed Nascent
