After the guards reported it, the City Lord's Manor was the first to take over, and only then was the matter passed to the constabulary.
For the constabulary, an ordinary Martial Cultivator could simply be arrested. But with a Martial Ancestor, one careless move could cause massive destruction.
So they were only responsible for finding him, then notifying the Wizards' Association.
The constabulary officers would not even show themselves. They merely found all sorts of shady characters to keep watch.
Strictly speaking, those people were better suited for tailing than constables. Everyone had their own specialty.
Feng Jun did not know that someone was following him. The main reason was that his mind was not on such matters.
He discovered something: two bookstores were special. One could only be entered by those of the Wizard System, while the other was exclusively for nobles.
In other words, he was not qualified to enter either bookstore.
Though such bookstores were rather restrictive, he had long grown accustomed to a stratified life. People had never truly been
