The records in the tome were probably hearsay, because they even described that climactic battle in great detail.
The battle had been three Ancestral Star Cultivators against six Grand Witch Ancestors. In addition, more than thirty Witch Ancestors had joined the fight.
The Ancestral Star Cultivators had not fallen into an ambush. They had challenged the wizards themselves, demanding that the wizard side bring out every combat-capable force they had.
The wizards had not underestimated their opponents. They had deployed most of their strength, leaving only a small number behind to guard their territory.
They had even set up a Witch Formation, determined to wipe out those invaders completely.
Unfortunately, the battle had shattered heaven and earth. The wizards had been utterly annihilated, while of the three cultivators, one had died and one had been injured.
The entire battle had been recorded in great detail, like a novel, which made the account seem rather unreliable.
The Witch Ancestors and Grand Witch Ancestors had all died. For the recorder to have survived, what heaven-defying cultivation would that have required?
In any case, after that battle, the wizard side had been left with only the forces originally stationed behind: one Grand Witch Ancestor and four Witch Ancestors.
Two of the Ancestral Star Cultivators had also vanished. The remaining uninjured one had wounded the last Grand Witch Ancestor.
Then that person had signed a treaty with the wizards. Not only had he occupied two continents, but he had also forcibly designated the Divine Martial Continent as the Martial Cultivation Continent.
In other words, the continent currently occupied by Martial Cultivators had actually been won for them by the Ancestral Star Cultivators.
Wizards and Cultivators could now both stay temporarily on the Divine Martial Continent, but they had to follow the Martial Cultivators' arrangements.
