Feng Jun lingered in the valley while the crow circled above his head.
The fellow had been quite busy lately, catching all kinds of bugs to eat.
Like the plants, the insects in the valley were exceptionally lively, but none had mutated—the fierce insects of the Phone Plane had become unusual species only after being nurtured by spiritual energy for hundreds or thousands of years.
Even without mutations, though, they contained more or less a little spiritual energy, and the crow ate with great delight.
Besides that, it had also discovered that this valley had become a treasured place. It subconsciously decided that the man who often came here was the boss, which made it the second-in-command.
As the second owner of this treasured place, it conscientiously took on the responsibility of guarding the gate. Small bugs did not matter, but any larger animal that dared enter this area was invading its territory. It would not hesitate to kill or drive it away.

Crows were naturally rather fierce, but each of those rabbits weighed five or six pounds, far larger than it was. Worse, there were two of them, and it could not win, so it could only summon its boss for help.
Feng Jun hurried over at the sound, raised his hand, and sent out two Finger Winds that pierced holes through the rabbits' heads. Then he stepped forward, picked up the rabbits, and turned to leave.
The crow chased after him, cawing loudly. Its meaning was obvious: "Hey, hey, split it fifty-fifty! Taking everything is bad manners!"
Feng Jun glanced back at it and gestured with one rabbit's front leg—this much.
The crow cawed a few more times, gradually growing listless
