After learning the truth behind the troublemakers, Director Dou decided to personally escort this bunch of bastards back to Chaori.
As for his son's grand opening, missing it was no big deal. He was doing this to protect his son.
If he did not go back with them, who knew whether someone might start making trouble without him there?
When someone stepped forward to question him, Director Dou's face darkened. He pulled out his identification. "Police business!"
A middle-aged man spoke in a deep voice. "I heard about it, but this is a case in the city. Is it really Chaori police's place to handle it?"
Old Dou gave a faint, sinister smile. "Are you police?"
"No." The man shook his head. "I'm just an ordinary citizen."
"Then what the fuck does it have to do with you?" Old Dou's face sank. "Cuff him!"
"What did I do?" the middle-aged man shouted, struggling nonstop as he yelled, "The police are beating people! The police are beating people!"
"Obstructing law enforcement." Old Dou casually slapped that charge on him.
He was not an idiot. He naturally knew what it meant for this man to step forward now.
Then he turned an unfriendly gaze toward another middle-aged man. "What's your business?"
The man reflexively shook his head wildly. "Nothing, I was just... curious!"
Old Dou's face went black as he spat out one word. "Scram!"
After much difficulty, they stuffed everyone into the vehicle. Just as they were about to set off, a police car came howling over and stopped directly in front of the minibus. Two officers got out.
"Get out!" One officer waved at the minibus while making a phone call. "What are you doing?"
"Why the fuck is it any of your business?" a voice came from the door.
