Jiang Siming looked at everyone, who were all dead to the world, and felt a headache coming on. It was impossible to just leave them here, right? Fortunately, Suiyu Pavilion provided both food and lodging. Jiang Siming slipped one hand under Zhu Zhuqing's silky, jade-like legs and carefully lifted her up.
Jiang Siming slowly shuffled to the front desk and whispered, "Could you please open eight premium rooms?"
The young lady at the front desk looked at Jiang Siming with a strange expression. You couldn't blame her for letting her imagination run wild; he was carrying a drunk girl to get a room, and then suddenly asked for eight premium rooms—the scene was quite something. But she was just a receptionist, so she naturally knew what should be said and what shouldn't.
Jiang Siming was full of helplessness. Who told him to run into a group of drunks? They couldn't hold their liquor, yet they still insisted on acting tough.
"Sir, I'm sorry. We don't have that many rooms left. There are only four premium rooms available now. What do you think?" the receptionist said respectfully.
Jiang Siming thought for a moment. Dai Mubai, Tang San, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun could share one room. Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong could each have one. That left one room—it was fate! Jiang Siming couldn't help but stand there, grinning foolishly.
"Sir? Sir? Are you alright?" The receptionist looked at Jiang Siming with increasing suspicion.
"Cough, cough, I'm fine. Yes, I'll take the four rooms." Even with Jiang Siming's thick skin, he found it a bit much to handle.
"Very well, here are your room cards," the receptionist said respectfully.
Jiang Siming returned to the private room and looked at the group, who were already snoring. He looked at Zhu Zhuqing in his arms as she burrowed deeper into his chest, and a look of helplessness crossed his face. The Evil God Hook slowly extended from his back. He first threw Dai Mubai and the others into their room. Just as he was about to leave, a mischievous streak hit him. A minute later, he looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction before closing the door and leaving. If the Evil God Hook could talk, it would definitely curse Jiang Siming: "The first time you use me, it's for this kind of thing? I'm not human, but you're a real dog!"
Next, he arranged for Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong to go to their respective rooms. Finally, he carried Zhu Zhuqing to the last room. The Evil God Hook pulled back the quilt, and Jiang Siming held his breath, carefully placing Zhu Zhuqing on the bed.
"Mmm," Zhu Zhuqing let out a soft moan.
Jiang Siming cursed internally, What are you doing? Don't mess around.
Compared to Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing's development was so exaggerated it was beyond words.
"Form is emptiness, emptiness is form," Jiang Siming chanted silently in his heart. He slowly pulled the quilt up and tucked Zhu Zhuqing in.
Afterward, Jiang Siming sat cross-legged on the floor and entered his nightly mirror training.
What Jiang Siming didn't know was that shortly after he closed his eyes, Zhu Zhuqing suddenly opened hers. She looked at the man before her—who couldn't exactly be called handsome—and revealed a blissful smile before drifting back into a hazy, sleepy state.
The next day.
"Ah!" A shrill scream startled Jiang Siming awake. He then discovered a blanket draped over him and looked at Zhu Zhuqing, who was still fast asleep. Jiang Siming stood up carefully and walked to the bedside. Sunlight fell upon her eyelashes, causing them to tremble slightly. Perhaps because she had drunk too much the night before, a faint flush still lingered on her cheeks. Jiang Siming couldn't help but gently flick Zhu Zhuqing's high, delicate nose.
Her cute little face wrinkled slightly as she slowly woke up. Zhu Zhuqing opened her eyes and saw Jiang Siming right in front of her. She panicked, pulling the quilt up with both hands and burying her head inside.
"Little sleepyhead, time to get up. You have a soul fighting match tonight, so how about I take you out shopping during the day?" Jiang Siming said gently.
Zhu Zhuqing tentatively poked her eyes out and blinked, signaling her agreement.
Suddenly, another round of arguing caught their attention. Jiang Siming turned his head and gave a lecherous grin. He could roughly guess it was Tang San's group. After the two of them washed up a bit, they left the room.
When they arrived at the lobby, Jiang Siming saw Dai Mubai and the others glaring at him with fury. Even the usually calm Tang San looked completely dazed.
"Jiang Siming, tell me the truth—was this your doing?" Dai Mubai roared.
"Impossible, this is fake. What I dreamt of last night was clearly..." Oscar was still shaking his head in disbelief.
"Jiang Siming, let me tell you, I'm no longer pure," Dai Mubai said sorrowfully.
Seeing that the joke had gone too far, Jiang Siming quickly conceded.
"I was wrong, I was wrong," Jiang Siming said, pleading for mercy. Zhu Zhuqing, standing beside him, looked confused.
"What happened?" Zhu Zhuqing asked Jiang Siming.
"Don't you dare say it, or I'll kill you!" Dai Mubai hurriedly interrupted. If the girls found out that the four of them had slept all night without any clothes on, they would never be able to hold their heads high again.
"So noisy, what are you all arguing about so early in the morning?" Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu had also been woken up. Fortunately, the other guests at Suiyu Pavilion were people of some means who were perceptive enough to see that these individuals were extraordinary, so they didn't want to cause trouble.
"Boss Dai, I was wrong. Forgive me," Jiang Siming said, suddenly acting serious. Of course, this was clearly a tactic to confuse the "enemy."
"Brother Siming, if you don't let us beat you up today, how can you make up for my fragile heart?" Ma Hongjun cried out.
Tang San, having regained his senses, nodded as well.
Oscar glanced at Ning Rongrong, and his face turned red without him realizing it. Dai Mubai saw the spineless Oscar and nudged him, signaling him to maintain a united front.
"Oh, right. Siming, we definitely have to beat you up this time. Be a good boy and tie yourself up," Oscar said.
"Fine, I'll let you do what you want. I won't use soul skills or my martial soul, and I'll just stand here and let you hit me. How about that?" Jiang Siming shrugged helplessly.
Dai Mubai and the others had clearly achieved their goal, so they said viciously, "That's more like it. But if you dare to tell anyone about this, I'll drag you down with me."
"Fine, but let's call it off for today, okay? You have a match tonight," Jiang Siming said with a "I'm so scared" expression.
They exchanged glances and nodded one after another.
They were nodding, but Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong weren't having it.
"Brother, tell me, what's going on? How come I didn't understand a word of that after listening for so long?" Xiao Wu asked, looking at Tang San.
Tang San smiled awkwardly but didn't speak. After all, it was truly too embarrassing to say.
"Little Ao, you tell me." Seeing that there was no breakthrough with Tang San, Ning Rongrong turned to ask Oscar.
Oscar looked at Ning Rongrong, wanting to speak, but his mouth was covered by Dai Mubai.
"Zhuqing, hurry and ask. Aren't you curious? What if Brother Siming did something to let you down?" Ning Rongrong provoked Jiang Siming.
"Rongrong, don't talk nonsense. Your Brother Siming is as pure as ice and clean as jade," Jiang Siming said, suddenly anxious. How did this get dragged back to him?
"No, I'm not curious. I trust Siming," Zhu Zhuqing said gently, taking Jiang Siming's arm.
