Within the vortex of space-time ninjutsu, the figure of Uchiha Obito was being dragged into the other dimension, yet these fragmented words managed to slip out.

In that instant, only Namikaze Minato understood what he was saying; the boy who used to be late every time because he was too busy helping others seemed to have returned for a fleeting moment.

But all of this was built upon the foundation of the genjutsu known as Kotoamatsukami, cast by Body Flicker Shisui.

Was it because the seed planted was "surrender" that he had suddenly awakened and apologized?

"Lord Fourth Hokage! My Chakra is being severed!"

Shisui's voice rang out suddenly, and Minato's expression shifted instantly: "Kakashi, now!"

The moment the vortex contracted, Kakashi lunged forward: Kamui!

Another space-time vortex enveloped Shisui and Kakashi, and they vanished from the cave together.

Minato and Fugaku exchanged a glance, both immediately expanding their sensory range, keeping a constant watch for any spatial fluctuations in their surroundings.

Inside the other dimension, a trail of blood flowed from Shisui's left eye, while Kakashi beside him had collapsed directly to the ground.

"The Chakra connection has been severed. Eat a Military Ration Pill to recover your Chakra first; I will deal with him from here on out."

As Shisui spoke, he looked at the masked man opposite him, already forming a hypothesis about his identity.

The enemy's abilities had been analyzed clearly by the Fourth Hokage, and it was a fact that they were countered by the Mangekyō Sharingan in Kakashi's left eye.

Yet, from beginning to end, the Fourth Hokage had never told them the enemy's identity. The abilities were clear, but the identity remained a mystery—and it was so similar to the power of Kakashi's Mangekyō.

Perhaps Kakashi didn't understand, but as an Uchiha, Shisui understood perfectly!

The Sharingan: the mirror of the heart.

The Mangekyō was an evolution that allowed the Sharingan to cross a great chasm; while its abilities were diverse, the foundation was always an evolution based on the user's deepest desires.

Hatake was not an Uchiha; without Uchiha blood, it was impossible to evolve from Three Tomoe to Mangekyō on one's own!

Based on this, when Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan truly evolved... it must have been the other eye that triggered it!

Such similar space-time abilities—one for offense, one for defense.

As every clue connected, the identity of the man in the swirl mask before him became glaringly obvious.

The disciple of the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, the best friend of Kakashi, and the hero of the Third Great Ninja War!

"Body Flicker Shisui, you earned great merit in the Third War with your Body Flicker Technique and genjutsu. Was it during that time? So, you must have experienced the pain as well, right? This world is filled with sin and war. My junior, do you also wish to betray me?"

As soon as the words fell, Masked Obito appeared instantly beside Kakashi, reaching out to gouge out his left eye.

However, the next moment!

Green Chakra wrapped in a skeletal frame blocked the path in front of Kakashi, the cross-shaped pattern in the blood-red pupils spinning wildly.

The skeleton lunged upward, and an arm encased in green Chakra slammed down toward Masked Obito.

"BOOM!!"

Inside the Kamui Dimension, the floating boulders shattered.

Obito, who had dodged with a flicker, looked grave: "Susanoo, so it has reached this level!"

Blood flowed from Shisui's eyes once more; the drain on his Mangekyō's ocular power was becoming unbearable.

The green skeleton dissipated, the cross-pattern reverted to the Three Tomoe state, and he slowly drew his standard-issue Ninja Sword.

In truth, if the situation hadn't been so dire, Shisui had not intended to release Susanoo.

Having analyzed the known intelligence on the enemy, the power of the opponent's Mangekyō Sharingan was now effectively neutralized.

The Fourth Hokage and Captain Fugaku were guarding the reality, while he and Kakashi held the other dimension; both sides were ready to strike at any moment.

And in the real world, the Fourth Hokage's Flying Thunder God markers were everywhere. With the speed of the Yellow Flash, any attempt to teleport out would be a death sentence.

All he had to do was use the area of the cave in reality as his boundary and secure victory!

In an instant, countless trees erupted from the stone of the different dimension, their branches rapidly coiling toward Shisui.

Taking advantage of the flames consuming the trees, Shisui hoisted Kakashi onto his back and fled, stopping on a rock formation only after several Body Flicker maneuvers.

A chain tipped with a shuriken struck suddenly, followed by a barrage of branches sweeping in from behind.

"How long can you keep dodging? Hashirama's power is enough to play with for an entire day!"

Shisui continued to dodge relentlessly, and Kakashi, on his back, finally opened his right eye. "Without the Uchiha bloodline, reverting from the Mangekyō Sharingan back to the Three Tomoe is far too difficult. Put me down; the rest is up to you."

Shisui kept using the Body Flicker to evade without looking back. "Are you sure? I'll still need you to get us out of here later."

Kakashi looked up and gestured. "Defending from the sidelines won't be a problem. After all, he's afraid that I might teleport him out in an instant. Closing it is difficult, but firing off a shot is quick!"

A moment later, Shisui set Kakashi down, pointed to his own eyes, and turned to charge at Masked Obito.

Between the endless trees and the flames filling the entire space, Shisui pushed his Body Flicker to the limit, yet every time he closed the distance, he found no opportunity to unleash his genjutsu.

His right eye's Kotoamatsukami had already been interrupted, and his left eye's Kotoamatsukami, which required no Chakra connection, had been used upon activation. The only way to decide the outcome was through a combination of genjutsu and the Body Flicker!

The ninja sword collided with the chain, sending sparks flying as the trees churned and attacked from behind once more.

At that moment, Kakashi in the distance suddenly pulled up his headband.

In an instant, Masked Obito ignored the Shisui he had just pushed back and scrambled to dodge.

Based on his knowledge of his teacher, he knew exactly what the consequences of being teleported away would be. If he still had a chance against Shisui and Kakashi in the different dimension after Kamui was neutralized, then in the real world, filled with Flying Thunder God seals, he would be finished by his teacher in a single heartbeat!

The blood-red cross appeared once more, the genjutsu fueled by the Mangekyō Sharingan locking directly onto Obito just as he dodged.
