I had to admit, everyone had been so thoroughly traumatized by poisonous plotlines, just like me, that whenever a foreshadowed plot point seemed like it might turn toxic, we got scared.
I'd originally planned to spend a few more chapters on the Silver Dragon King's schemes and Di Tian's change of heart, then have Rus Wang beat up the Silver Dragon King and lock her away in Herundis Manor, where she could sit in prison like the Demon Empress, raise her silly daughter, and stay out of Rus Wang and Huo Yuhao's confrontation.
And I hadn't dumbed down the protagonist before the Silver Dragon King unleashed her astonishing wisdom, either. He'd always been suspicious about whether she was truly being honest. Sigh... now I have to revise my outline again. The second update will probably be very late.
