This new book was incredibly, incredibly important to Old Yue. Old Yue had been at Qidian for over a decade, but writing had always felt like swinging a hammer here and a club there, with no particularly fixed style. That led to poor results at times, and starting a new book felt like buying a lottery ticket.
But things had changed since this book began. Old Yue had started walking his own path and forging a style uniquely his own. In the future, even if the author's name were covered up, everyone would be able to tell at a glance: this was Old Yue's book.
So, everyone would see that this book did not have much in the way of so-called innovation. It had only one core: "smoothness" and "satisfaction."
Of course, carving out one's own path was like the protagonist of a novel seeking to prove the Dao—it was far too difficult. Many Qidian authors had fallen and sunk into the sand. It was easy enough to say, but actually doing it was harder than climbing to the heavens.
Still, this book's current trajectory was fairly good. Whether Old Yue could live out a second life, whether he could walk his own path, often depended on the support of all you reader friends! (After it goes premium, the rapid-update mode will begin!)
