"What did Blackett send you here to do?" Luo Ya raised an eyebrow slightly, released his hand, and looked indifferently at the red-faced old man.
"This..." Paget's ruddy face immediately turned sour. They had said it was an extremely confidential matter. Could he just tell anyone about it?
"Hmm?" Luo Ya's gaze turned impatient as he looked at the red-robed old man. Paget had attacked him for no reason. Unless he explained himself, even Blackett's name wouldn't save him.
Seeing the mysterious black-haired young man suddenly frown, Paget's heart tightened. He could only force a bitter smile and take a hexagonal black crystal from his Spatial Ring.
"What is this?" Luo Ya sensed an extremely strange power within the crystal. It was somewhat like the aura of the [Evil] Profound Mystery in the Laws of Darkness, but not quite.
"I don't know what it is either. Lord Blackett only told me to retrieve this crystal. He didn't tell me what it was for." Paget quickly shook his head, and his expression seemed genuine.
"Then how did you find this thing?" Luo Ya casually took the black crystal. He immediately sensed a special energy within it, a chilling force that carried a dense aura of evil.
"There are some extremely unusual places in this Evil Valley Forest. Every so often, they produce special treasures. We waited nearly a hundred years near a pond for this black crystal." Paget answered honestly.
In fact, Blackett had sent people to guard the place much earlier. He had only sent Paget, a Seven-Star Fiend, in person when the treasure was nearly ready.
"A pond? Where is it? Take me there." Luo Ya had heard Barnett mention that there were some unusual environments in the Evil Valley Forest. It seemed this pond was one of them.
