Chester's eyes turned cold.
"That's enough."
Odin stopped Chester and looked at the two young people like a celestial god. A wave of spiritual energy suddenly rippled from his soul.
He was a formidable expert whose mastery of the Laws of Death had reached the level of a Seven-Star Fiend. Enslaving two Lowgods was no problem for him. Even if they wanted to pledge their allegiance to him, he would still enslave them.
Only then could he feel at ease.
The young man and woman sensed a strange ripple, and their eyes immediately glazed over.
The wave of spiritual energy surged straight toward their souls. But deep within each of their souls, a special scroll floated into view, suddenly radiating a hazy, exceptionally gentle glow.
When the strange wave of spiritual energy met that gentle glow, it was like ice meeting fire. It slowly dissipated, transforming into pure soul power. That soul power then became nourishment for their souls, which absorbed it.
Only after absorbing the strange soul power did their eyes slowly regain their brightness.
They had no idea what had happened, but the strange sensation had filled them with instinctive fear. Terror showed in the depths of their eyes.
"How is this possible?!"
Odin, meanwhile, looked utterly shocked.
Why couldn't he sense his own soul power anymore?
And the two of them hadn't been enslaved! That was impossible!

Hearing Odin's words, Chester turned to him in confusion.
Nimora also looked at Odin. "Big brother, what happened?"
Odin didn't answer them. Instead, he stared coldly at the young man and woman. They must have some kind of treasure, perhaps a Soul Defense Divine Artifact.
