Hodan left the specific arrangements and details to Renars. He trusted that someone who had built a family from scratch and managed it for billions of years would do a better job than he could.
"There are some other spoils here, too. Take care of these as well. When the time comes, distribute some of the loot to the other families."
Hodan tossed Renars another Space Ring. Inside were Godheads, Sovereign Artifacts, and some Inkstone. There were even more than a thousand drops of Sovereign's Might.
These were all Hodan's spoils. Even if he kept every last bit, no one would dare complain. But if he kept all the meat for himself, he should at least let the others have some soup. Otherwise, he'd look far too greedy. If the people lost heart, the alliance would be difficult to lead.
Renars took the Space Ring and swept it with his divine sense. He was so startled by the more than a thousand drops of Sovereign's Might inside that he could hardly believe it. He had never obtained so much Sovereign's Might himself.
Renars naturally followed Hodan's instructions. He had no intention of keeping the Sovereign's Might for himself. Doing so would offend the other seven clan leaders and even the Paragon of his own family.
Besides, he knew Hodan could extract Sovereign's Might. If he ever needed some, couldn't he just pay Hodan to extract it? There was no need to do something that would make enemies of everyone.
"I remember you're Bloodridge Sovereign's emissary, right?" Hodan asked. "And you only have one Offensive Sovereign Artifact?"
"Yes, I only have one Sovereign Artifact—a blade," Renars said sheepishly. "I've only earned two Commander Badges' worth of merit on the Plane Battlefield, too."
He had accumulated that merit billions of years ago.
