Hodan sat motionless in the thunderstorm, letting the lightning strike his body. His foundation was lacking, so he had been absorbing the power of the lightning to make up for it. But decades had passed, and even with the thunderbolts providing energy, his progress was still too slow. Without a solid foundation, he couldn't increase his cultivation speed, and he might even make no gains at all. It was a vicious cycle.
After some thought, Hodan took out his Sovereign's Might. One advantage of Sovereign's Might was that even a brief period of using it would improve the body and soul to some extent, though the gains weren't great. If one were willing to waste it, using hundreds or thousands of drops in succession could transform the soul and body into something immensely powerful.
As one of the source powers, Sovereign's Might was also one of the powers most compatible with the Destruction Giant. Hodan believed it could effectively shore up his foundation, and it was also the fastest way to improve his physical constitution. He had reached maturity by relying on his comprehension of the Rules, and although his body had been strengthened, it couldn't compare to one that had naturally grown to maturity.
His physical constitution was now stronger than a High-God Artifact, but he was still a long way from matching a Sovereign Artifact. This was a good option. Although he didn't have Thunder Sovereign Power, there would be no problem using enough Destruction Sovereign Power in its place.
