Time had passed slowly without anyone noticing. In the blink of an eye, a thousand years had gone by.

A Metal Lifeform was surging through the Fog Sea, plowing through the waves at high speed.

"Look! What's that? I think I can see a rainbow-colored tree in the air. It's ignoring the lightning striking it—and it seems to be absorbing it, too." A puzzled voice rang out.

The people aboard the Metal Lifeform were startled. What kind of place was the Fog Sea? How could there be a tree here? The lightning in the Fog Sea was powerful enough to overwhelm even Highgods.

All the nearby fiends turned to look. In the distance, thick bolts of lightning were raining down on a single spot. A Highgod frowned. "I don't think I'm mistaken. It looks like a powerful expert cultivating the Laws of Lightning, but that tree seems to be made of lightning." Billions of bolts struck down through the Fog Sea, and even Highgods couldn't withstand them. What kind of power did it take to ignore them?

"The lightning's so powerful that even the legendary Seven-Star Fiends probably wouldn't dare take it head-on." The other fiends were stunned, though they had only heard of Seven-Star Fiends. They weren't easy to encounter, after all.

"Hey, Bourbon, hurry and get us closer.
