Background / History

Reisjin is the son of Chief Sovereign Zijing. Kept under her strict supervision from childhood and confined to the Amethyst Mountains for billions of years, he had little contact with the outside world. This isolation left him childlike, mischievous, and largely indifferent to conventional ideas of good, evil, life, and death. 117 143

Before meeting Jonathan, Reisjin served as a Purgatory Overseer and was already a top-tier Asura. His reputation rested on his mastery of Amethyst, spatial crystals, and his signature Amethyst Space. 119

Within the Amethyst Mountains, Reisjin trapped Linley’s Earth Divine Clone inside a spherical Gravity Space, treating the situation as a game rather than an execution. Jonathan entered the mountains specifically to study Reisjin’s technique, resisted the Amethyst Space with his own Gravity Space, and eventually negotiated a wager. 114 115

After losing Jonathan’s Black Prison Labyrinth challenge, Reisjin accepted Jonathan’s guidance in exchange for Destruction Sovereign Power. He learned the 216-point upgraded Amethyst Space and later left the mountains under an order from Chief Sovereign Zijing to follow Jonathan. 116 117
