Sean rode the impact and retreated several meters. His fist was uninjured; it only stung a little from the force of the blow. Jialuoke, however, had shattered bones in his right hand, and the immense force sent him hurtling high into the air.
"You... How is this possible?" Jialuoke stared in disbelief. A Lowgod had actually surpassed him in physical attacks.
After all, he had already comprehended four Mysteries of the Water Law. Across the entire South Sea, only one person was even slightly stronger than him.
"Jialuoke, don't waste time. His physical attacks are much stronger than last time. Kill him with a soul attack!" Patrick shouted.
"Fine." Jialuoke nodded too. After one exchange, he knew there was no way he could threaten Sean with physical attacks. This wasn't the time for a sparring match, so he prepared to launch a long-range soul attack.
Suddenly, Jialuoke sensed something coming at him from behind: several arrows.
He'd never encountered anyone who used arrows as weapons. Weren't those things only used by the weak human armies?
Still, he was cautious by nature and instinctively tried to dodge. But in an instant, more than ten Divine Domains locked onto him.
They were all some distance away, but there were too many of them. So many Divine Domains affected his speed.
Jialuoke wasn't a fool. These Divine Domains were clearly meant to work with the arrows behind them, though he didn't know what they were.
Even so, though he was being held back, he was still much faster than the incoming arrows.
"Don't run off just yet!" Sean laughed. He swung the Purple Blood God Sword at Jialuoke with all his strength. Spatial cracks flickered in its wake.
Sean had originally intended to use the God-Slaying Arrows against Patrick, but when the stronger Jialuoke appeared, he decided to use them on him instead. Jialuoke was the greater threat.
"Hmph." Jialuoke didn't dare ignore Sean's attack and hurriedly took out his spear artifact.
Bang! The two divine artifacts collided. Jialuoke was sent stumbling backward, and just then, the God-Slaying Arrows arrived.
"What are these things?" Though Sean's physical attack had left him unable to control his movements, the arrows were even slower. He easily dodged more than ten of them, but the last one struck him in the waist.
The arrow itself had little penetrating power. It only pierced through Jialuoke's outer layer of energy before running out of force.
That was only because Jialuoke had just spent too much divine power clashing with Sean. Otherwise, the arrows wouldn't have even touched his skin.
Jialuoke was about to sneer when a cloud of Black Mist on the arrow suddenly invaded the depths of his soul inside his head.
His expression changed, and his soul's aura trembled throughout his body.
Strike while he was down. Sean immediately attacked again.
"Not good!" Patrick had clearly noticed that something was wrong with his companion. He dodged attacks from several Lowgods, then launched a soul attack at Sean with all his strength.
Soul attacks traveled far faster than physical attacks. Sean didn't dare be careless, and unleashed several soul attacks in succession to cancel out Patrick's.
Just then, several God-Slaying Arrows shot toward Jialuoke once more.
But without Sean to distract him, Jialuoke dodged them easily.
"What is this thing?" Jialuoke asked gravely, his entire body emanating the aura of the Soul Golden Bead.
"Why should I tell you?" Sean replied calmly.
Unfortunately, he had neither a bow from the Divine Planes nor an expert skilled in ranged attacks. Even with the God-Slaying Arrows, he could only use them to catch his enemies off guard.
And his opponent was a Midgod of the Water Laws, skilled at defense. He hadn't been killed outright.
Still, it was enough to land one hit and severely wound his soul. That way, Sean wouldn't have to worry about his soul attacks in their next exchange.
"Hmph. It's a good weapon, but its power is too weak. Once I know about it, it won't be of any use." Jialuoke had naturally seen the divine arrow's weakness: it lacked force.
"Hahaha! Our people are here. You'll all die soon!" Patrick suddenly burst into laughter.
Mi Piaozheng and the other Lowgods of the Radiant Church turned pale as well. Their divine senses had detected more than a dozen Lowgods approaching. They were ten thousand miles away, but at the speed of divine beings, they would be here soon.
Against two Midgods, their group still had some hope if they joined forces. They might not be able to kill them, but at least they could defend themselves. But with more than a dozen Lowgods arriving, their side would have no chance of winning.
In an instant, many of them began to waver. Staying meant certain death; if they fled now, they might still survive.
"Everyone, attack together! Don't hesitate any longer!" Mi Piaozheng sent through divine sense.
He was the first to charge, striking Patrick with his strongest attack. Several other divine beings charged too, unleashing their most powerful physical attacks.

"We'll see if you're capable of it," Sean shot back. Meanwhile, a drop of green-blue Sovereign's Might of the Water Attribute was ready in his mind, waiting to be used.
"Hmph. In that case, I'll show you what I, Jialuoke, am truly capable of," Jialuoke said coldly.
A vast quantity of Water Law divine power appeared out of nowhere, and a gigantic whale materialized in the sky. With a furious roar, it charged at Sean, intent on swallowing him whole.
"So this is the Profundity of Water Elements? The Mysteries of the elements can be used like this?" As Sean looked at the dazzling array of Water Elements before him, the question about the Earth Element that had troubled him for decades suddenly became clear.
