"Jinhuo?" Sean extended his divine sense and detected Jinhuo, the Plane Overseer, about a thousand miles away.
The last time they had met, Sean had still addressed Jinhuo respectfully as "sir." That had been when he was a Lowgod. Now he was a Midgod, and his strength was worlds apart from what it had been back then, so he simply called Jinhuo by name.
"Sean, it's only been a few decades, and you've already become a Midgod. I have to say, I'm in awe of you," Jinhuo said with a laugh through divine sense. "When I heard you'd become a Midgod and killed Patrick and Jialuoke, I could hardly believe it."
Midgods moved extremely fast in the Material Plane. While they were speaking, Jinhuo quickly arrived in Shengyue City.
