"Sir, how do you have a High Godhead?" Ram asked, unable to believe it.
Though he was weak—just the most ordinary Lowgod who had refined a Divine Spark—over the years he had spoken often with the other gods who had lived for millions of years at the Radiant Church. He had especially gotten along well with Sean, and many of the church's original god-level experts had also gone out of their way to befriend him.
The most basic thing he knew was that High Godheads came from High Gods. Yet according to the Radiant Church's records, even the appearance of a single Mid God in the Zhongyuan Material Plane—including the South Sea and the East Sea—was extremely rare.
A Mid God had appeared on the Zhongyuan Continent before. If not for Sean, the entire continent would have been thrown into chaos. And if a High God appeared, they would definitely unite the entire plane.
But Sean actually had a High Godhead? Had Lord Sean killed a High God at some point? But even if he had, why give him the High Godhead?
"Of course. Do you think I'd lie to you?" Sean said, controlling the Mid Godhead with his mind and sending it toward Ram.
"Refine this Mid Godhead first. Once you've become a Mid God, you can refine the High Godhead. But you must swear a Supreme God Oath that you will not betray me or harbor any intention of harming me.
"You must also obey my orders. But don't worry—I'll never give you an order that's sure to get you killed."
Of course, the Supreme God Oath had loopholes. If someone truly wanted to betray their master, even if they couldn't act against them directly, they could still find a way to divert disaster toward them.
