Mei Terumi pointed at the friend beside her. "With her sheltering me from the wind and rain, I'm not afraid of anything."
Her best friend immediately wore the expression of someone who had been royally saddled with a burden. "Mm... yes. I'll take care of her living needs. Don't worry."
Hearing that, the cold-faced girl nodded, then left.
"The Yuki Clan really is all this icy."
Her best friend smiled when she heard that. "What else did you expect? Their family's inherited bloodline is Ice Release. Of course they're icy."
"I heard that one of Lord Torifu's two Kekkei Genkai is Ice Release! They say he developed it himself. He's amazing!"
Mei Terumi nodded after hearing that. "Yeah. One Kekkei Tōta and two Kekkei Genkai. He's much more impressive than me."
"Don't say that. In this whole world, there probably aren't many people whose talent can compare to Lord Torifu's. You count as one of them."
Mei Terumi herself possessed three Kekkei Genkai: Lava Release, Boil Release, and Acid Release. She was absolutely a genius-level figure.
