He pressed it gently. The bricks shifted, and before long a pitch-black passage opened up before him.
Without hesitation, he strode inside.
Faint lights flickered along the walls. There weren't many, but they provided enough illumination.
He kept walking and soon reached his destination: a spacious, brightly lit room.
The many display cases inside were packed with all kinds of scrolls and ninja tools.
It was obvious that this was the Kumonaka Clan's true fortune.
Seeing all the scrolls and ninja tools in the room, Kumonaka Torikaze couldn't help exclaiming,
"Good grief! I thought my family was already rich, but I was still thinking too small."
"There are so many ninjutsu here. It'd probably take me ten years to learn them all!"
But none of that was why he'd come. The scrolls weren't going anywhere, so finding the Cloud Release technique was the priority.
He walked to the display case at the very center of the secret room. It held just two things.
One was a scroll. The other was an exquisitely beautiful sword, its hilt carved with clusters of auspicious clouds.
Two cranes were in flight on the scabbard, and the wooden sword stand was engraved with the words Heming Sword.
"What a fine sword. It's mine now."
Then he turned his attention to the scroll beside it. "This must be the scroll explaining how to learn Cloud Release."
Kumonaka Torikaze unrolled it, but what he saw next left him gaping in shock.
'Cloud Release is a nature transformation developed by Yunzhong Huachen, the ancestor of the Kumonaka Clan. It is formed by combining Water, Fire, and Wind Chakra, making it a Kekkei Tōta! It is extremely difficult to master and beyond the reach of ordinary people.'
'Those struck by Cloud Release ninjutsu will suffer one of two fates: at best, their organs will freeze, killing them; at worst, they will turn to cloud and vapor and vanish without a trace.'
Kumonaka Torikaze's mind had completely short-circuited.

He really wanted to grab both items right away.
Unfortunately, the phone and computer cost far too many Calmness Points: a whopping 5,000 each!
That was 10,000 Calmness Points in total. He couldn't even imagine it!

The second only boosted Wind and Fire Chakra. It would help Kumonaka Torikaze somewhat, but not much.
