Late at night, in an unregistered shady inn.
A young man dressed like an adventurer, wearing a dark green work jacket and trousers along with a round hat, carried a dinner tray and knocked on a bedroom door.
Knock~ knock~
"Stop knocking!"
"I told you not to disturb me."
From within the bedroom came an extremely irritable female voice, as though she might burst out at any moment with a rolling pin in hand.
"What a lunatic. If she hadn't already paid me..."
The man outside muttered with a frown for a while, then said with a sour expression, "I'll leave your dinner at the door. Take it yourself if you want to eat."
After saying that, he set down the tray and returned directly to the bedroom on the other side.
Once no one remained in the living room, Cyril, who had been hiding through "Psychological Invisibility," stepped out from a "Blind Spot of Consciousness."
He placed a hand on the doorknob and gently twisted his wrist. With a click, the door opened.
"Damn it, didn't I tell you not to disturb me?!"
Sensing movement from the door behind her, the woman seated at the desk turned around irritably, revealing a pair of blue-gray eyes that occasionally flashed with lightning or fire.
They gave off an immediate impression of savagery and sinister malice.
The air in the room immediately turned thick and cold. White frost carrying bone-piercing chill spread across the floor, walls, and ceiling.
Several thin, long icicles had already formed on the gas wall lamp, its fixture, and the wall clock.
Those blue-gray eyes stared unblinkingly at Cyril, their undisguised malice making her seem like a venomous snake ready to strike and hiss at him at any moment. "Who are you?"
"Just a Painter passing by," Cyril
