Having just come back to his senses, Cyril suddenly felt dizzy. His legs went soft, the room before him split into overlapping images, and a murmur like incoherent whispers echoed in his ears.

He flicked off the stopper with his finger, brought it to his lips, and gulped down the liquid inside.
An icy sensation slid down his esophagus into his stomach before spreading through his body, instantly easing the dizziness in his head.
He closed his eyes and quickly entered meditation.
