The scene contained neither the figure of Mr. Fate whom Audrey had expected nor any enemies interfering with his advancement.

There were only worms formed from dazzling starlight, their heads and tails merging into the void as they glittered brilliantly.

These glittering worms embraced one another, forming balls of light, which then stacked together into layer upon layer of dazzling, illusory doors.

Behind these illusory doors lay a deep, distorted vortex that changed constantly. It consisted of all-encompassing chaos, silver joined end to end, and strange shadows that defied description.

It was as though three entirely different powers were fighting one another, utterly chaotic yet distinctly separate.

At the center of the slowly gathering, writhing vortex, something seemed about to grow, yet it never managed to take shape.

As Audrey gazed at the chaos behind the layers of illusory doors, her mind was unwittingly drawn deep into it.

Within that chaos encompassing every color, she seemed to see countless minds being born and destroyed, to see the power that truly belonged to the mind...

"Don't look!" The Hermit's voice suddenly rang out beside her ear.

At the same time, the surrounding gray fog surged, obscuring the scene formed from crimson light until only a blurred outline remained visible.

Coming to her senses, Audrey patted her chest with lingering fear. Her gaze swept over the scene obscured by gray fog before quickly turning away.

*...That was terrifying. If I had stayed immersed in it, would I have lost control outright, or would it have left a hidden danger in my mind that might cause me to lose control? Probably not. Even without the Hermit's warning, Mr. Fool would surely have obscured the scene at the appropriate moment and brought us back to our senses, preventing us from remaining immersed in it
