After a stretch of silence, Alger the Hanged Man said in a low voice:
"Then have him choose a faith, stay away from him, or report him to a church."
"If he has only suffered some minor influence, sermons and baptism from a church priest can resolve the problem. But true corruption by an evil god is beyond saving."
"Once a powerful Beyonder is corrupted, he either loses control and becomes a monster, or turns into a madman, a servant of the evil god. Either outcome is dangerous for those around him."
"Well..." Emlyn pressed his lips together. After a brief pause, he asked:
"Not even an angel can help?"
Alger the Hanged Man fell silent for half a second before shaking his head slightly.
"I don't know. Beings at the level of angels are beyond my understanding."
Cattleya the Hermit glanced toward Cyril before taking over:

"Your best choice is to seek help from the Church of the Earth Mother. They have always been tolerant in matters concerning the Sanguine." They liked converting Sanguine into believers of Mother Earth, so naturally, they would also help those who approached them of their own accord.
"How do you know the person I'm talking about is a Sanguine?" Emlyn's eyes widened a little.
Alger chuckled, his voice echoing leisurely:
"Would you really make friends with anyone outside the Sanguine and worry about their plight?"
"I..." Emlyn opened his mouth, only to discover that he could not refute the Hanged Man
