After a brief pause, he looked toward the conspicuous empty patch beside the street and said thoughtfully, "It was either transferred away out of thin air, or sealed away..."
"This resembles the methods of a high-level Apprentice."
"Was this a conflict between the Aurora Order and the Abraham Family?"
Anthony nodded lightly. "Very likely."
"A Traveler capable of producing multiple Grade 0 Sealed Artifacts most likely came from the Abraham Family."
"If it were another secret organization, they wouldn't place so many dangerous Grade 0 Sealed Artifacts on a Traveler who wasn't even a Demigod."
"Only the Abraham Family would do so. They lacked Demigods and had a longstanding grudge against the Aurora Order."
As they spoke, an illusory door appeared out of nowhere.
Then, the royal Demigod in a neatly tailored evening suit, refined and handsome, appeared once more.
This time, he had restrained the imposing authority around him and was no longer floating in midair.
Elsewhere in the East District, Fors and Xio stared somewhat blankly out the window at the night sky, where the firelight had faded and darkness and silence had returned.
After a moment, Fors came back to her senses and murmured, "Xio, I think we should leave the East District. South Bridge District or Cherwood Borough would both do."
"The East District has been not only chaotic lately, but dangerous as well."
Beside her, Xio, dressed in pajamas, nodded gravely. "Alright."
"After that explosion, many unaffiliated Beyonders hiding here will probably leave the East District, and those gatherings will choose new locations."
"Although it's chaotic here and easy to hide in, no matter how well you hide, you won't be safe from someone capable of causing an explosion like that. The aftermath of the battle alone could flatten an entire district."
Fors nodded gloomily.
