After returning home from the Harvest Cathedral, Cyril immediately shut himself in his room. He painted a symbol combining Concealment and Scrying on the full-length mirror in the corner, then softly called Arrodes's name.

The next second, the mirror reflecting the room suddenly darkened, like a lightless pool rippling in wave after wave.

Soon, silver-white Loenese words appeared one by one:

"Great and exalted being, Arrodes has come to pay his respects. May I ask what you need me for?"

Cyril regarded the words on the mirror pensively. He could see the deep reverence in them, along with the subtle emotion of not wanting to see him.

So this little mirror acts one way to my face and another behind my back.

He sighed silently to himself, then looked at the mirror and asked in a deep voice, "I need a Meteorite Crystal. Do you know where I can find one, and what would be the easiest way to obtain it?"

Silver ripples spread across the mirror, and the words quickly rearranged themselves:

"Exalted one, the Abraham Family, the Tamara Family, and the Aurora Order all possess intact Meteorite Crystals. There are also some in the Spirit World, out at sea, and in the storehouses of certain Orthodox Churches."

"If we limit the search to Backlund, there are three Meteorite Crystals. They belong to the Aurora Order, the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery, and the Sanguine."

"The easiest one for you to obtain is the one kept by the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery. It is in the underground storehouse of Saint Hillan Cathedral. You only need to have your follower exchange his accumulated merits for it. He has just earned enough merits to redeem one Meteorite Crystal."

Cyril nodded slightly. "I see."
