The Zanpakuto rebellion had finally come to an end yesterday. The culprit behind it had been killed, and even the criminals released by the person who had incited the Zanpakuto to rebel had been slain by Byakuya Kuchiki.
Although Byakuya Kuchiki's betrayal had been nothing but a ruse, and his original goal had been to preserve the Kuchiki Clan's honor, the trouble he had caused the Seireitei could not be undone. In the end, he was punished with a month of house arrest!
The Seireitei had also begun rebuilding and clearing away the remaining materialized Zanpakuto. According to Mayuri Kurotsuchi's research, these materialized Zanpakuto would be unable to return to their original forms until their spiritual energy ran out.
