"..." Everyone fell silent.
This was supposed to be an explanation? Shouldn't he have explained the terrain, the distribution of fierce beasts, their types, and everything else?
Was that really all right?
Aokiji, however, acted as though he had not seen the looks from the recruits and continued speaking to himself. "Your task is also very simple: kill all the fierce beasts captured over the past six months. The count will be based on their hearts. For every beast you kill, you'll gain that many New Recruit Camp credits. After this assessment, the thirty people with the lowest credits will be expelled from the New Recruit Camp."
Expelled?
The moment those words were spoken, everyone's expressions changed. After half a year of training, they naturally understood the benefits of the New Recruit Camp. In particular, upon graduation, they would at minimum become warrant-level officers—in other words, naval commissioned officers.
Those with outstanding performance could even become headquarters-level field-grade officers directly. Even if they did not remain at headquarters, they could become the person in charge of any small branch.
If they were expelled midway through, all of that would naturally be gone.
"Ha..." After another yawn, Aokiji curled his lip at their reactions. "In my opinion, being expelled is a good thing. At least it proves you survived. The fierce beasts in there are no weaker than large sea beasts. Some are even comparable to Sea Kings."
The recruits' faces grew even uglier. Beasts comparable to sea beasts were already enough of a headache, but what the hell were beasts comparable to Sea Kings? It was only a practical assessment—did it really need to be this dangerous?
"If you're killed by sea beast-level fierce beasts, it proves you're useless trash not worth training. And if you're killed by Sea King-level
