No, ultra-modern buildings stood everywhere. Every blade of grass, every flower and tree, even the streets themselves radiated an utterly overwhelming sense of technology.
Pedestrians streamed endlessly through the streets, living what seemed to them like perfectly ordinary daily lives.
For example, someone used six hands to cook flatbread, someone else shot beams from their eyes to print documents, and a person picking up trash simply waved a hand, causing the garbage to fly automatically into the little vehicle hovering behind them...
Such ordinary lives... probably...
All manner of bizarre-looking beings, utterly inhuman in appearance, walked through the city's streets as if it were only natural. They entered and left building after building, sometimes buying things from nearby stalls, sometimes filling their stomachs in restaurants and taverns, keeping the lively atmosphere in the air alive without end. It was incredibly surreal.
Of course, humans still made up the majority of this world, though some of them possessed rather strange features.
Wu Biao walked down the street, his gaze constantly following the "rare beasts" calmly passing by him. The farther he walked, the stranger this world seemed to him. Among all the pedestrians on the street, there were barely any ordinary people.
