Another dull blast rang out. The resulting shockwave scattered the swirling dust, and a figure suddenly charged straight at Saber.

Saber's expression darkened. Gripping her sword hilt with both hands, she brought it down sharply toward the incoming figure.

Yet the man burst into mad laughter. He pressed down with both fists, leaving Saber no room to retreat, then raised his leg and swung it in one fluid motion, striking Saber directly in the waist.
