Karakura Town.
There stood the largest ceremonial hall in the area, a thirty-story building large enough to host thirty banquets at once.
Yet today, the entire ceremonial hall had been booked.
Normally, booking out an entire ceremonial hall meant firecrackers going off in deafening succession. With that kind of money, they ought to have set off firecrackers all the way around Karakura Town.
But in reality, the booked-out ceremonial hall was strangely eerie.

Those tightly shut doors resembled the maw of a sleeping beast; merely approaching them was enough to send chills down one's spine.

Kenpachi Zaraki chased after Kurosaki Ichigo with a savage grin, carrying a mop handle snapped off from who knew where. Yet instead of his Shihakusho and captain's haori, he was wearing... a white suit...
A white suit was supposed to make one look more refined, but on Kenpachi Zaraki, it simply looked strange no matter how one looked at it...
Still, amid the bizarre outfits filling the hall, his white suit could at least be considered normal.
Looking at everyone else, some wore seventies-style clothes with huge straw hats; some wore high school uniforms; some had copied Brother Biao outright and put on white lab coats; and one prematurely gray-haired fellow went even further, pulling a middle school uniform over himself.
Mm... apparently,
