The Final Chapter: A Journey That Would Never End!
Anger showed on Son Gohan's little face as his body flickered repeatedly, yet he always missed Drac by a split second.
One chased while the other fled, and in the blink of an eye, they had already rushed out of City T.
Drac was drenched in sweat, terror filling his eyes. That vicious little brat behind him had no intention of giving up. With every pursuit, the other seemed to grow more familiar with his movement patterns.
This wouldn't do...
If he kept this up, that little bastard would catch him soon enough. He had to think of something else.
But what could he possibly do to escape now?
Just then, Drac caught sight of the crowd below from the corner of his eye. His face immediately brightened as he shifted again—but this time, not forward. He moved straight toward the ground.
Son Gohan froze for a moment. Following the sensation of Drac's energy, he instantly noticed the direction of his movement and saw the crowd below as well.
"Stop!!"
With a roar, Son Gohan dove toward the ground like an eagle pouncing on a rabbit.
Drac appeared at the same time, already close to the crowd. His sudden appearance stunned them, and none had time to react.
And Drac gave them no chance to react. A dagger appeared in his hand as he charged straight toward the little girl in the crowd.
He had no idea who this five- or six-year-old girl was.
But from his observations above the battlefield earlier, everyone in the Gotei 13 had deliberately or unconsciously protected her. She had to be the daughter of some important figure in the Gotei 13. If he took her hostage, perhaps he could force his way out of here.
