Early that morning, in Kurosaki Ichigo's room, Wu Biao looked at him with a conflicted expression. "So while I was away, some Baroque showed up, and every one of them was incredibly strong?"
"Heh heh, yeah!" Kurosaki Ichigo said with a nod. He'd expected Brother Biao to react like this. For someone as battle-crazy as Brother Biao, an opponent from a special race was a rare treat!
Kon nodded along, looking rather pleased with himself. "You can thank me, Brother Biao. I could pinpoint the Bount as soon as they showed up. Otherwise, that battle would've been a lot harder!"

Kurosaki Ichigo kicked Kon and glared at him. "You did nothing but cause trouble. The only reason we could track the Bount was the modified soul Urahara made."
"That's not important!"
Wu Biao looked like he was about to cry. "You just said their leader was taken out in one shot by Uryu Ishida, at the cost of his Quincy powers, and the rest of the Bount were wiped out by you and the Soul Society working together?"
"Yeah!"
Kurosaki Ichigo nodded.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Wu Biao grabbed Kurosaki Ichigo by the collar and hauled him up. "Why didn't you leave one for me, you bastard? I wanted to fight that Baroque guy too!"
"They were Bount, and their leader wasn't Crocodile..."
Kurosaki Ichigo's mouth twitched. "Besides, it wasn't like I could just decide to leave one alive. The Bount were a threat to the Soul Society, so they dealt with the rest of them."
"You're useless. Couldn't you have taken down all those stingy Soul Reapers and brought one back to keep?" Brother Biao shot Kurosaki Ichigo a contemptuous look.
