Chapter 93: Haki (Second Update, 5,700-Character Special)
In the main hall of Las Noches, Aizen sat on his throne with one hand propping up his cheek. His star-bright eyes rested on the Hogyoku in his hand, and the corner of his mouth curled slightly.
"Lord Aizen!"
A figure suddenly appeared below the throne and dropped to one knee, his face full of reverence.
"What is it, Tōsen?"
Aizen's lips parted. He didn't change his pose, and his gaze remained on the Hogyoku in his hand as he quietly asked.
"Grimmjow went to the Human World, and he took all of his Fracción with him."
Tōsen replied calmly, but his tone still made his displeasure with Grimmjow unmistakable.
Though Tōsen had turned against the Soul Society, in his own mind, he was merely following the path of justice he believed in. He had always been a stickler for rules, so naturally he was deeply unhappy with someone like Grimmjow, who ignored them.
"I already know."
Aizen remained motionless as he spoke, seemingly unconcerned by Grimmjow's departure.
"But..."
"I said I already know, Tōsen."
Aizen interrupted him, his voice still as mild as ever. But Tōsen suddenly felt a chill. He could no longer gauge Lord Aizen's strength directly. Without realizing it, he had lost even the ability to sense Lord Aizen's power!
"I allowed Grimmjow to leave. Let him have some fun for now. When things are nearly over, go bring him back. As for those Fracción... they're nothing but cannon fodder!"
"Yes."
Tōsen answered quietly, then withdrew without hesitation.
The Human World.
Karakura Town was quiet at night. The full moon hung in the pitch-black sky, but there were few clouds... Even the handful that remained seemed to be swept along by a gale, racing toward the horizon.
Vmmm!
