Wu Biao settled in with the Kurosaki family and repeatedly fought Hollows with his overwhelming strength, even restoring Kurosaki Masaki’s soul. As Ichigo accepted Uryu Ishida’s challenge, Wu Biao captured a group of Hollows and turned them into pets.

• Wu Biao appeared in Karakura Town, befriended Kurosaki Ichigo and Sado Yasutora, and joined the Kurosaki family at their clinic.
• Wu Biao discovered he could destroy spirits and Hollows with his bare hands, then rescued Orihime Inoue and helped reveal her brother’s spirit.
• Wu Biao and Ichigo tracked the Hollow that had attacked Sado and Yuichi, and Wu Biao tore it apart despite the Gates of Hell trying to claim it.
• At Masaki’s grave, Wu Biao saved Yuzu and Shyarly from Grand Fisher, then defeated it and restored a fragment of Kurosaki Masaki’s soul.
• Urahara Kisuke examined Masaki and kept her at his shop while Isshin returned home with Ichigo and Rukia.
• Wu Biao joined Kanonji at the hospital and destroyed a newly formed Hollow after Kanonji’s attack failed.
• Uryu Ishida introduced himself as a Quincy and challenged Ichigo, who accepted after Uryu baited him about being a powerless substitute Shinigami.
• Wu Biao caught nearly thirty Hollows, named some of them, and rode them through the sky as they carried his hammock.

Wu Biao joined Ichigo’s rescue mission and fought his way through Seireitei, drawing the attention of its captains and leaving hundreds of Shinigami injured. After defeating Kenpachi and escaping prison with Sado, he interrupted Mayuri’s attack on Ishida and Orihime, then drove Mayuri off before collapsing from hunger.

• Wu Biao killed a Gillian, survived Byakuya’s attack, and trained with Don Kanonji before following Ichigo’s group through the Senkaimon into Soul Society.
• Wu Biao entered Seireitei alone, fought through its guards, and shaved the heads of Hinamori and many 5th Division Shinigami after their Kidō burned his hair.
• Wu Biao fought through patrols overnight, then joined Ichigo and Ganju after they landed in Seireitei and helped them escape pursuing Shinigami.
• Wu Biao left Ichigo’s group to fight Kenpachi, who admitted defeat after Wu Biao struck him with Onefold Kannon Fist.
• Wu Biao escaped his prison cell with Sado and followed Makiuzo carrying Orihime back to Ishida’s fight with Mayuri.
• Wu Biao interrupted Mayuri before Ishida removed the Sanrei Glove, then fought Mayuri’s Bankai and punched through Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō.
• Mayuri escaped as purple liquid after Wu Biao struck him into the ruins, while Wu Biao collapsed from exhaustion and lunged after the liquid, mistaking it for rice porridge.

Wu Biao helped rescue Rukia, survived Aizen’s betrayal, and was sent back to the Human World, where the Gates of Hell drew him into a struggle over becoming Hell’s agent. After accepting the role and restoring Huaye’s memories, he clashed with Soi Fon in South Rukongai and faced questions from Unohana about his return and the Hell Miasma.

• Wu Biao and Ichigo reached Sōkyoku Hill, where Ichigo stopped Rukia’s execution and Wu Biao fought Byakuya while the others helped Rukia escape.
• Aizen revealed his conspiracy, extracted the Hogyoku from Rukia, and escaped with Gin and Tōsen as the captains and lieutenants failed to stop him.
• After Wu Biao devastated several divisions, Yamamoto ordered the humans out of Soul Society, and Ichigo returned home to his family.
• The Gates of Hell took Wu Biao, who fought his way through Hell and refused Hell’s Will’s demand that he become its proxy.
• Wu Biao defeated Lord Shuren’s group, then was swallowed by the miasma gathered at his arm brand and transported into Huaye’s memories.
• Wu Biao accepted Hell’s offer, killed Black Blade within Huaye’s nightmare, and absorbed the miasma so Huaye could regain her memories and reunite with her brother.
• Soi Fon and the Omnitsukido Corps attacked Wu Biao in South Rukongai, but Unohana stopped his punch before he could strike Soi Fon.
• Unohana questioned Wu Biao about how he had returned to Soul Society and whether he had caused the Hell Miasma, while Soi Fon demanded to know who had sent him.

Wu Biao returned from Hell, battled Arrancar threatening Karakura, and left Ichigo with the Visored to master his Hollow. After enduring Hellfire to grow stronger, he was summoned by the Soul Society, then briefly returned to the Human World to greet Ichigo.

• Unohana Retsu released Wu Biao from the Soul Society, and he ordered Hell’s Keepers back through the Gates of Hell before leaving with Soi Fon.
• Wu Biao condemned Black Blade to remain awake forever in Hell’s Abyss, then returned home and learned the Bount had been defeated.
• Wu Biao teamed up with Kanonji to defeat a Hollow, then helped defend Karakura from Yammy and Ulquiorra before they withdrew.
• Wu Biao intervened in the Arrancar battles, defeating Szayelaporro Granz and stopping White Ichigo from attacking Grimmjow.
• Ichigo went to the Visored to learn Hollow control, and Wu Biao left him in their care before entering Hell for special training.
• Wu Biao endured Hellfire as Hell’s Will repeatedly burned, healed, and strengthened him while Yamamoto revealed Aizen’s plan to destroy Karakura and create the Oken.
• The Soul Society summoned Wu Biao through the Gates of Hell, and he closed them before opening a Hell Cavity to greet Ichigo at the Visored’s factory.
