"You mean the Chicago Bulls have a problem with their teamwork?"
The reporter keenly caught the implication in his words.
"I only comment on my own team." Li Fei's answer was impeccable. "They have Michael and Karl, two top-ten players in history. They can never be underestimated. Winning today doesn't mean we'll win easily next time. We need to stay focused."
"One last question, Li." A female reporter from Sports Illustrated asked, "This season, the Lakers have formed the OK Duo, the Houston Rockets have the Big Three, and the Bulls have added Malone. Nearly every strong team is strengthening its roster and making changes. Yet the Knicks' core lineup has remained largely unchanged. Some people are worried that you'll be surpassed by your opponents because you're stuck in your ways. What do you think?"
This question was clearly more pointed. Everyone held their breath, eager to hear the league's number one player's response.
The smile on Li Fei's face remained unchanged, but his gaze became deep and confident.
"Change isn't always a good thing. Stability doesn't mean standing still."
His voice was not loud, yet it reached every ear clearly. "Our core lineup truly hasn't changed, but every one of us is improving. Our chemistry is getting better, and our trust in each other is deepening. Our opponents are changing, and the league's landscape is changing. We see all of that. But we believe in our own basketball philosophy and in the system we've built. We'll use our 'unchanging' to face all the changes outside. Because we know that as long as we don't make mistakes, no team can defeat us."
As his words fell, an invincible kingly aura instantly enveloped the entire interview area.
This was Li Fei. This was the confidence and dominance of the defending champions.
