"Of course I had time for our Player of the Week." Monica tilted her head back, her eyes soft as water. "What did you want to do?"
"Go shopping with me, buy a few things, then catch a movie." Li Fei's hand slowly slid up her arm before lightly wrapping around her waist. "Consider it a celebration for winning this 'insignificant' award."
"Sure." There was a trace of laughter in Monica's voice, along with a faint breathlessness that was hard to detect. "But when you say shopping, are you buying things for me or for yourself?"
"Of course it's for you." Li Fei's other hand stroked her cheek, his thumb gently caressing her smooth skin. "It would be my honor to spend money on Italy's most beautiful treasure."
His words were like the sweetest poison, making Monica abandon all resistance. Rising onto her tiptoes, she took the initiative and kissed him.
Outside the window lay all the splendor of New York; inside, two exquisite figures were entwined.
This was destined to be a sleepless night.
The next morning, the sun shone brightly.
Li Fei and Monica appeared on Fifth Avenue.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, both of them wore simple disguises.
Li Fei wore a black baseball cap and a pair of Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, concealing his overly eye-catching face. Monica, meanwhile, wore a wide-brimmed ladies' hat and oversized Gucci sunglasses, hiding her breathtaking beauty behind them.
Even so, their exceptional figures and presence still drew plenty of sidelong glances from pedestrians.
A giant over seven feet tall walking beside a stunning beauty with a fiery figure and perfect curves was, in itself, a striking and unusual sight.
Their first stop was the Tiffany & Co. flagship store at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street.
"I like it here."
