Ch. 62Paragon Potential and Midgod (Five Updates on Release Day, First Update)

Linley killed Beaumont during the battle at Bosha Dike, allowing Olivier’s strike to destroy the prison gate and let Gebados prisoners escape before Beirut sealed it again. Witnessing the destruction raised Liewen’s potential to Paragon Highgod, helped him break through to Midgod, and earned him a system reward.

  • Linley used the Violet Blood Soft Sword’s targeted soul attack to shatter Beaumont’s soul, and Olivier’s follow-up strike cut Beaumont and Bosha Dike in half.

Ch. 63Potential of a Sovereign Artifact (Second Update of Five on Launch Day)

  • Liewen regained consciousness and raised Purification Guard, preventing Alsop from striking again, then swung at him as Alsop fled beyond the horizon.

Ch. 66Purification Ripple

After defeating Alsop, Liewen absorbed Soul Essence and used his battle experience to fuse the Profundity of Purification with the Profundity of Soul Deterrence. He created Purification Ripple, strengthening his soul defense while waiting for the High Priest and the others to return from the Necropolis of the Gods.

  • Liewen defeated Alsop, took his Midgod Spark of Life, and returned to Yulan City as Alsop and his subordinates fled the Yulan Empire.
  • Liewen searched Adrian and Orchi's belongings, found Soul Essence in the Twin Snake-Tiger Beast's Interspatial Ring, and began absorbing it while using the beast's Essence Blood to strengthen his body.
  • News of Liewen's victory spread, and Ogavin was pleased while Adkins showed no interest; Liewen and Linley agreed to keep a low profile until the High Priest and the others returned.
  • Liewen found a point of compatibility between the Profundity of Purification and the Profundity of Soul Deterrence, and began fusing the two profound mysteries.

  • Liewen recognized the Reynalds Clan as a potential source of Inkstones and decided to wait until Sadista was dead before attacking its members.

Ch. 70Twenty Years

After gaining an initial grasp of the Light Speed Profound Mystery, Liewen waited for Sadista to die before protecting Linley from another Renards Clan assassin. He killed Nif in the Magical Beast Mountain Range and kept Nif’s nearly million Inkstones, planning to give Linley his Midgod Godspark.

  • Liewen left Tongluo Mountain after sparring with Bluefire’s second brother and gaining an initial grasp of the Light Speed Profound Mystery.

  • Liewen entered his dark mine, illuminated it with Light Element, and struck the Night Stone, but only a few fragments broke loose.

Ch. 78Shattered Star Stones and a Hundred Years

Ch. 79Starry Night Castle

  • Douglas ordered Liewen to join a hundred-man unit accompanying him to Starry Night Castle, and the group departed the next day.
